Why use an ACTAguard?
The ACTAtek is IP-65 rated. This means that the device is dustproof and can withstand the penetration of water jets. However, we suggest that the ACTAguard be used when the ACTAtek will be installed outdoors with little or no cover. The ACTAguard can also help prevent bright sunlight from "tricking" the sensor into thinking that a user is trying to authenticate. This rugged stainless steel cover is a great way to protect your ACTAtek investment!
